Pocekay, Dahle Sign With San Diego
SAN DIEGO, Jan. 29.—Catcher Walt Pocekay and Southpaw Pitcher Dave Dahle are the latest to return signed contracts to the San Diego Padres of the Pacific Coast Baseball League, the club's front office announced today.
Both players were in the Western International League last season. Pocekay hit .352 with Spokane to lead the circuit and Dahle won 18 games for Wenatchee. Both formerly played with Oakland.
