KENNEWICK, May 3 — The Victoria Tyees put four runs across in the sixth inning of the first game and coasted through on Tri-City errors in the second contest to win both ends of a Western International League baseball twin bill here Sunday.
The Tyees chalked up a 7-5 win in the opener and won the second 10-6.
Don Pries' base-cleaning triple as the big effort in Victoria's sixth of the first game. Lou Branham had RBIed the first run with a single. The Braves, trailing by three scores in the last of the ninth, staged a rally but it was cut short after one run had crossed the plate.
The second contest was a comedy of errors, three to be exact, one in each inning the Tyees scored. The visitors put two unearned runs across in the first in Tom Marier's overthrow to first.

SALEM, May 3 — Wenatchee and Salem divided a Western International League doubleheader here Sunday, Salem winning the opener 1-0 and losing the second game 10-8.
Centerfielder Dick Sabatini singled in the only run in the first game. It was scored by catcher Bob Nelson who had walked and advanced on a sacrifice by Ray Stratton.

LEWISTON, Idaho, May 3 — The Lewiston Broncs and Edmonton Eskimos split a Western International League baseball twin-bill Sunday, Lewiston winning 3-4 in the afternoon and Edmonton 4-2 in the nightcap.
Edmonton scored two runs in the third inning of the night game on a single and triple. The Eskimos added two unearned runs in the seventh when a batter was hit and catcher Dick Neil threw wildly into right field while attempting to pick the runner off first after two men had previously singled.
Lewiston got two runs in the seventh on a triple, double and error.
In the afternoon game, Clint Cameron paced the Broncs with two home runs with the bases empty.

YAKIMA, May 3 — The Vancouver Capilanos slammed out 29 hits here Sunday in taking both ends of a Western International League baseball twin bill from the Yakima Bears, 9-3 and 6-0. Rookie Rod MacKay limited the Bears to three hits in the abbreviated afterpiece.
The first game amounted to little more than a parade of athletes — Vancouver batters taking their next turn at the plate.
The Caps pocketed the seven-inning afterpiece with five runs in the first frame. Chuck Davis' bases-loaded triple the key blow.
Frank Mascaro chalked up Vancouver's sixth run in the fifth with a homer with none aboard.

SPOKANE, May 3 — Pitcher John Cordell combined with two teammates to give the Spokane Indians a 3-1 win over the Calgary Stampeders in the first game of a Western International League split doubleheader Sunday afternoon.
It was the Tribe's third straight win over Calgary.
