Ron Bottler Files Suit for $80,000
REDWOOD CITY, Calif., Oct. 3 (BUP)—A former Victoria baseball player has filed suits amounting to $80,000 against a San Francisco auto mechanic.
Nineteen-year-old Ronald Bottler, who was a catcher with the Victoria Tyees this year, and his father filed the suit as the result of an auto accident near south San Francisco March 23. The youth says he was training for his baseball career and that the accident permanently injured his elbow and arm.
He asked that the amount of the suit be boosted if injuries prevent him from playing any more professional baseball.
