More Edmonton Signings

With Eskimos
EDMONTON, March 16—Signing of 23-year-old outfielder Vernon Campbell, last season with Quincy Gems of the Three Eye League, announced today by Edmonton Eskimos of the Western International baseball League. Campbell won the batting championship of the Pioneer League while with Twin Falls in 1951.

Eskimos Sign Two Players
EDMONTON, March 17—Edmonton Eskimos of the Western International Baseball
League have announced the signing of first baseman John Paul Jones and outfielder Vernon Campbell.
Jones played with Lancaster of the Inter-State League last season and led the Canadian-American League in home runs and runs batted in while playing with Amsterdam in 1951. His contract was purchased from the New York Yankees.
Campbell played with Quincy in the Three-I League last season and won the Pioneer League batting championship with Twin Falls in 1951.
